Since 2009, Global FM’s participating organizations have orchestrated efforts to conduct World FM Day on the fourth Thursday of June. This year’s World FM Day will take place on June 28.World FM Day is an opportunity for groups to highlight and celebrate the important role FM plays in organizational and building performance for both government entities and private businesses.
VINCI Facilities, a European leader in facility management for multinational companies, again will be Global FM’s main sponsor for World FM Day.
IFMA headquarters will continue to conduct its annual Twitter feed and will encourage chapters, councils, alliance member organizations and communities of practice to celebrate on that special day. All IFMA members also are encouraged to do their own celebration within their facility departments to build awareness amongst FM customers and stakeholders.A World FM Day resource package soon will be available and further details will be provided as the task force meets in the coming months
